High Rollers Canberra, a strong advocate for women in martial arts, especially Judo and BJJ, played host to the fantastic J-Girls event this past weekend. On Sunday, March 30, 2025, the High Rollers Canberra gym was buzzing with energy as female judokas from across the region came together for a day of training, camaraderie, and fun.
The event was a resounding success, thanks in large part to the presence and guidance of Commonwealth Games gold medalist Tinka Easton. Her expertise and inspiring presence made the day truly special for all attendees. A huge thank you to Tinka for taking the time to share her skills and experience!
The Canberra female judo community showed incredible support, turning out in force to make the event a vibrant and positive experience. The atmosphere was electric, filled with enthusiasm and a shared passion for the sport.
A special shout-out goes to Judo ACT for their hard work in providing a delicious BBQ and snacks, ensuring everyone was well-fueled throughout the day.
