We’re excited to share some fantastic news from the recent JudoACT Beyond Grappling Judo Club Competition held at the Tuggeranong Indoor Sports Centre. Our kids really brought their A-game and made us all proud!
It was an incredible day filled with energy and enthusiasm as young judoka from various clubs came together to showcase their skills. Our High Rollers Canberra kids truly stood out, impressing everyone with their hard work and determination on the mat.
Our junior competitors secured impressive victories in their divisions, which is a testament to the quality of training they’ve been receiving at our club from our team of Judo coaches headed up by Stephanos and Adrian Georgiadis. It’s amazing to see how much they’ve grown in such a short amount of time, not just in technique but also in confidence and sportsmanship.
The competition was a great opportunity for our young athletes to put their skills to the test against peers from other clubs. Watching them apply what they’ve learned during practice in a real match setting was inspiring! It’s moments like these that really highlight the benefits of consistent training and dedication.
Our coaches couldn’t be prouder of how well the kids performed. They noted significant progress across the board, and it was clear that everyone learned something valuable from the experience. Plus, it’s always great to identify areas for improvement as we continue our journey in judo.
A huge shout-out to all the parents and supporters who cheered from the sidelines! Your encouragement created such a positive atmosphere, and it really boosted our kids’ spirits. The camaraderie we share as a club makes these events even more special.
