What an incredible weekend for our High Rollers team at the Pan Pacific IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championships 2024 in Melbourne! From the moment we arrived, the energy and excitement were palpable, and our athletes, both young and experienced, didn’t just meet expectations – they exceeded them in spectacular fashion.
The competition was fierce, with talented judoka from all over the Asia-Pacific region showcasing their skills. But our High Rollers stood tall, demonstrating the techniques and values they’ve been honing in our academy. The dedication of our coaches and the hard work of our athletes really shone through on the mats.
Throughout the tournament, we saw amazing displays of technique, determination, and sportsmanship from our kids. From nail-biting matches to decisive victories, every moment was filled with pride for our High Rollers family. The support from parents and teammates echoed through the venue, creating an electric atmosphere that pushed our competitors to give their all.

Adding to the excitement, our coaches also stepped onto the mats to compete, showcasing their skills and bringing home medals of their own – Coach Queenie bringing 3 silvers and a bronze. Their participation not only demonstrated their ongoing commitment to the sport but also inspired our younger athletes, showing them that the journey in jiu jitsu is lifelong.
Beyond the medals and trophies, what truly stood out was the camaraderie among our team. They cheered each other on, offered words of encouragement, and celebrated each other’s successes.
